AT MEDIA HONOURED IN THE SECOND EDITION OF THE POLISH NATIONAL SALES AWARDS
At Media has won two honourable mentions in the Polish National Sales Awards competition for Best Salesperson 2009. Maria Wajda, Managing Director of At Media and winner of the Sales Leader of the Year title in the competition's first iteration, was again distinguished in the same category, and At Media's sales department was distinguished in the Sales Team of the Year category.The gala event closing the second edition of the Polish National Sales Awards - a competition geared at cultivation of professional sales practices and sales ethics - was held last Friday, 18 June. Entrants were competing for awards in twelve categories; At Media was competing for the first prize in the two categories specified above.
Commenting on this success, Maria Wajda said, "the double distinction in this year's edition of the PNSA competition brings an extraordinary reward to the entire At Media team for the commitment and passion which we bring to our work. At the same time, it motivates us to continuous development and perfection of our professional skills. I am honoured to thank the entire At Media team for the distinction in the Sales Leader category. AXN WEBSITES EXCLUSIVELY FROM AT MEDIA
Starting May, the websites on which At Media offers advertising space were joined by AXN, AXN Crime and AXN Sci-Fi. These three websites offering top-of-the-line television entertainment are available exclusively from At Media.
Beginning this May, At Media offers - on an exclusive basis - three websites of the AXN channels dedicated to fans of quality entertainment: AXN proper, AXN Crime and AXN Sci-Fi. As handled by At Media, these websites enable campaigns via the AXN Player - application that allows watching AXN series on the AXN website, banner campaigns, non-standard actions based on and communications combining more traditional commercials on AXN's television channels with www activity.
AXN player application present a unique means of reaching audiences via the internet. Advertising spots embedded in series are an exclusive form of promotion which makes for greater outreach and for longer interaction with the spot. The AXN Player application is already available to PlayStation 3 users; it is also featured in SONY Bravia televisions.The various AXN websites provide fans with in-depth information about their favourite films and series. Thanks to the AXN Player application, viewers will also be able to watch selected episodes directly on the website. What is already an extensive programming offer available to the website users will undergo further expansion in the future - with time, it will encompass not only selected episodes of series shown on the AXN TV channels, but also series custom-made for the internet. The toolbox placed at the disposal of the website users is also being expanded so that they can not only follow the endeavours of their favourite characters, but also share comments and impressions with others.
AT MEDIA NAMED BEST EMPLOYER 2010
The fifth, jubilee edition of the Best Employers Study for Poland has named the At Media house as Best Employer 2010.
At Media ranked third among the five enterprises distinguished by the title Best Employer 2010 for small and medium-sized companies, achieving yet another honour in the space of the past year.
Accepting the award on behalf of her team, Maria Wajda, At Media's Managing Director, explained ?the secret of At Media's success lies in the fact that our employees are our partners. It is they who are the most important. We believe that investment in human resource development naturally translates into a client-oriented attitude and into care for the client's needs. A high level of service is a priority for us. As much is confirmed by cooperation satisfaction studies carried out over the past few years among our clients - media houses and television channels. Thanks to this, At Media is a place in which the best experts in the market pool their talents to create effective advertising solutions. The Best Employers Study has been conducted annually over the past ten years by Hewitt Associates, a specialist in human resource management solutions. The study now covers 50 countries around the world; this was the fifth time that it was carried out in Poland. In 2009, the Best Employers Study was conducted in eleven countries of the Central and Eastern Europe region, extending to include 495 companies.
The study consists of three questionnaires which provide three different perspectives on the given organisation. The first gathers employee opinions, the second - feedback from managerial staff, and the third - the perspective of the human resource department. In this way, each organisation is assessed by, as it were, its internal clients - its employees. The experience of Hewitt Associates suggests that it is employees who are most competent to express objective opinions and assessments of their employers.
The activities of At Media and the work of its team are widely admired and acknowledged by its partners in the advertising market. In 2009, the special report by Media & Marketing Polska named At Media as the best advertising time sales house in Poland as well as choosing Marcin Boroszko as Manager of the Year 2009. In 2008, meanwhile, Maria Wajda won the Polish National Sales Awards competition for Professional Salesperson 2008, accepting an award for the Sales Leader of the Year, and the At Media team as a whole won an honourable mention in the Young Media Lions competition.
LET COMMERCIALS LIVE IN THEIR NATURAL HABITAT
AT MEDIA COMMENCES ADVERTISING CAMPAIGNThe At Media sales house is kicking off a nationwide advertising campaign under the slogan ?Let Commercials Live in Their Natural Habitat". This year's campaign aims to bring the attention of advertisers to the high share of viewership enjoyed by the channels in At Media's portfolio and to the proven effectiveness of advertising on thematic channels.
Starting today, 28 April, the At Media sales house is launching its ?Let Commercials Live in Their Natural Habitat" advertising campaign. The drive is addressed to advertisers and has the objective of informing marketers about the benefits offered by thematic channels, first and foremost due to their consistently increasing share of overall viewership and to the high purchasing power of thematic channel audiences.
Małgorzata Szelenbaum, At Media's Sales Director, emphasises that ?the dynamic proliferation of television channels available to Polish viewers, increasing penetration of cable networks and satellite platforms, and progressing fragmentation of audiences all contribute to increasing viewership of thematic channels. It is becoming ever more common for viewers to forego traditional ground-based TV stations, opting instead for thematic channels. That is why thematic channels are the best place for executing an advertising campaign - as the slogans of this year's promotional campaign point out. These slogans, incidentally, are substantiated by viewership results from past months as well as from longer periods".
The At Media campaign features a number of rare animals - the beluga whale, the three-toed sloth, the cuttlefish, the wolverine, and the eagle owl. All these magnificent creatures feel best in their own habitats - much like commercials, which thrive and produce the optimum results in their most natural setting, thematic channels. The campaign is complemented by the dedicated website www.efektywnie.tv (polish version) , which offers further information about the advantages of thematic media and the possibilities for effective execution of advertising campaigns utilising thematic channels.
The campaign will run from April through June 2010, covering the trade media as well as nationwide circulation business periodicals. Ads featuring the campaign's animal ?faces" will appear in the trade monthlies Brief, Media&Marketing and Telekabel, in the business pages of Gazeta Wyborcza and on the Gazeta.biz website, and on the internet portals accessible within the Marketing tier of the Bizon Media broker. The campaign was planned in-house by At Media's own specialists; the ads were created by the VIA agency of Krakow, which also provided the visual elements for At Media's previous advertising campaign.
ORANGE SPORT AND ORANGE SPORT INFO NOW OFFERED BY AT MEDIABeginning June 2010, the At Media sales house will expand its offer to include the Orange sport and Orange sport info sports channels. The former is covered by the AGB Nielsen Media Research programming and advertising monitoring scheme and will be available to advertisers on a price list basis, in spot packages, and in guaranteed viewership tiers. Orange sport, meanwhile, will be offered on a price list basis and in spot packages.

Orange sport is a sports channel which carries all matches of the Ekstraklasa football league, including no less than six games of every round broadcast live. Orange sport also carries the Portuguese Sagres league, the Elitserien speedway races in Sweden, NBA and WNBA games, and the handball Bundesliga tournaments; the channel furthermore covers boxing, kickboxing, and MMA.
Orange sport is available within the IPTV and SAT offers of Telekomunikacja Polska on channel 6 and on Cyfra+ on channel 106. It is aired 16 hours a day, seven days a week. AT MEDIA TO REPRESENT ESKA TV CHANNEL
Beginning March 2010, ESKA TV channel will join the thematic stations portfolio represented by At Media, the independent sales house. ESKA TV offers broad possibilities for execution of non-standard activities, and it will also be available on a price list basis, in spot packages, and in guaranteed viewership tiers.
